After thirteen years of faithful and dedicated service to the children of the Calvary
Early Learning Center and twenty-five years in teaching, our School Administrator,
Miss Kitty, is retiring. During this time, our school has grown
under her leadership from a few children to a thriving, Christian-based center
for children ages two through kindergarten who are taught by a paid staff of 5
teachers plus numerous volunteer support people.
Miss Kitty was honored
on Sunday, May 3rd with a special church service followed by a dinner reception
in our Felowship Hall. She will be missed, but we all wish her the very
best in retirement.
Miss Laura Schumm, kindergarten teacher and
church youth director, has agreed to assume Miss Kitty's responsibilities as School
Administrator. |
