Devotional
"Getting Ready To Remember"
Have you thought about what you will do during the six weeks of preparation for the celebration of Easter? That preparation begins February 22nd (Ash Wednesday).
Some people give something up as a sacrifice.
Some people increase their devotional/meditational studies.
Some people attend a midweek worship service.
Some people do nothing.
Some do not even think about preparing.
How about you? Calvary is about connecting people to Jesus' love and we do things to remember what that love is all about. Lent lasts 40 days. 40 is a Biblical number that calls for repentance, preparation, and readiness.
I suggest we ought to think about ways we can remember our Lord's sacrifice so that we can be more connected to His love.

Remembering keeps us connected. "Do this is remembrance of me!"
